This is what black and white is about.

I like the simplicity of this shot, with the stark contrast along that diagonal, and the range of tones from black in the lower left corner to the almost clipped whites in the sky.
Although there’s quite a lot of post-processing the essentials where there straight out of the camera.

It was taken on a dull day, in a dull town (I’ll be nice and won’t name it) just before a storm rolled in.
