There’s a fascinating long piece in Matter on medium.com about Adam Magyar who is taking photography in all sorts of different directions using, among other things, jury-rigged slit-scan and super-high-speed cameras.

The results are eerie and astonishing. The slow-motion videos of people on the platform, taken from inside moving underground trains, are beautiful and hypnotic.

In addition to his unique approach the things that are so impressive are Adam’s technical capabilities and his dedication to problem solving and innovation; he thinks nothing of spending several months writing special software to deal with a single issue in order to achieve his results.
